From the early days of this project, all involved knew it would be ambitious. Simplicia had been perfecting the songs live for a number of years, but this was their first full-length release. They trusted me to capture the spirit of the album visually. Inspired by concepts of separation and destructive introversion, fueled by early demo recordings, I started to sketch. This remains one of my favorite albums.
